I tried searching, didn't find a clear winner. Seem to have equal ratings on the site I visited, but the Pirelli's are a bit more $.
Pirelli P-Zero Nero M&S - 400-AA-A
Toyo Proxes 4 - 300-AA-A - REINFORCED
I like the fact Toyo's are reinforced... but would the Pirelli's really last longer? The extra $ would be worth it then.
I'm running a 1.8TQMS.

anything to compare them to but wet traction seems a little scary. I might still be getting used to 300hp and a heavy car. . . not sure. I've heard good things about the P-Zero Nero's. I think they will be my next tire.

They've been working well on family's Allroad. Falken Ze-512 is an inexpensive tire that's been working fine on family's B5 2.8.
Nokian WR is a winter-biased A/S if you're concerned about snow traction.

I have it on my S8. Much much better than the Potenza ones on our A6, and we live in Vancouver area, so wet traction is very important.

canadian review
