Perhaps, but I noticed that my mileage seemed to suffer a bit and the engine seemed a bit lethargic. My understanding is that the higher octane (94) is good for the chipped 1.8T engines, but a waste of $ for the stock engines (like mine).
Anyway, 91 is the highest octane we have here in Ralph's world (Alberta), so it's a moot point until we go to BC again!
