Default What's the consensus on break-in for a new clutch

Is it necessary or not?

If so, what are the do's and do not's?

Thanks,

Jerry D

Default Throwout bearing died

Doing clutch at the same time seeing as how Audi is paying for the labour.

Default How can you avoid boost for 1000kms?

I had a new clutch put in w/ stage 3. I avoided launching for a while. Once the car is in gear the clutch isn't going to suffer if you're on the throttle or not.

So avoid hard shifting, don't launch, otherwise drive normal IMO
