god it annoys me when people drive with no *****...
Have to love the mentality of "I'm fine with my all-season tires, I'll just drive slower". What about those of us who have snow tires and are in control of our vehicles? Why should we be stuck behind your slow ***? I can see when you're in a situation with reduced visibility that you'd want to drive slower... but this morning, and every morning that there is snow on the ground, and the air is clear... people are doing 50km/h along major roads.
Even better is 'buddy with the plow on his truck' who pays no attention and backs out onto roadways.
I don't hate winter... I hate stupid drivers.

And that is why I left work early. I can't stand people plodding along when the conditions aren't that bad. The one in the Honda this morning got me a bit peeved as he/she decided to drive on two lanes as he/she needed 5-6 feet of space to the curb and the far left lane. At least a Subaru wagon decided to drive through the right lane leaving only a foot at most between his car and the Honda and the driver finally got the message, stop hogging both lanes.

From the second floor of my house, I could trace the tracks of a private snow plow service that had backed up into my lawn while trying to clear the drive way of the person across the street.

"Hey, who plows your driveway? I was wondering if they'd want to do mine. What's their name/number?"
Then... report them to the city.
Then... ask the guy to come to your house, give you a quote... then show him a photo of the mess he just made on your lawn... then tell him he has 3 days to clean it up or you will start sending him bills for trash removal.

I can give a certain amount of respect to plow drivers, like I can give a certain amount to big truck drivers...
But the number of times I see them just throw it in reverse and start backing up directly onto a major roadway....
