Default Nope. The FIA catch fencing requirements kept it out of too many tracks due to $$$'s. Many

could handle it, if they'd invest.

Road America, Watkins, Laguna, Sears Point, Miller, Barber and VIR all come to mind.

There is/was also talk of a Vegas street race, as well as one in Chicago! Now EITHER of those would be COOOOOOOOL!

not really.

indy really is a pretty good spot to have it, even if you think the track is fairly boring.

it's centrally located, the facility can EASILY handle it, it's "home" as far as motorsports in this country goes, blah blah blah. there aren't many other places that can offer what Indy can.
