For a 57 in a 45 speeding ticket is it best to pay, hire a lawyer, or appear in person?

... or if you've already done that in the past few months you can go to the 8 hour session at teh Bridgeview courthouse with me on April 14.

57 in a 45 is not serious enough to get a lawyer but you might as well show up to court. It can get dismissed, the cop can fail to show, or the judge can be lenient. You almost always get the ticket reduced...once you do, pay and do driving school.

Maybe I've slowed down a little. I've stopped driving like I'm qualifying on the way to work. Maybe it's all of those signs that say $375 fine in a work zone everywhere I go.

Meah, cost of doing business.....
I have total repect for law enforcement officals but apparently not enough respect for speed limits.
