Default if you were looking top shelf then you wouldnt have purchased EDTV :)

the last 2 paragraphs are old outdated and dumb...there is PLENTY of HD content available, and not all projectors that can handle 480p automatically handle 1080i, 720p or 1080p...

if you're happy then thats all that matters...i just would not have dropped the cash on a plasma set..for the money you spent or are going to spend i can find something that will out perform the living daylights out of your plasma set...

Default This article was written in 2003 but basics still do apply ;) ....

...also I would be carefull with this "plenty of HD content"... true,.... there is few good channels but most of this "HD" content is nothing elese just upconverted and bandwidth twicked programming.

I have about 20 HD channels but olny few (including onair HD) are truly HD.

Default Panasonic vs. Panasonic.

I would recommend for you to go to ABT and see it in person.
Ask any sales rep to put 42" EDTV & HDTV together and you will see what I'm talking about.

Also I was supriced that the best performer was Fujitsu and Panasonic. Most vibrant colors and sync.
Those new Sony LCDs are not bad either.

Default I think you meant Faroudja...this will be enough...they make bad @$$ video processors.

Usually it performs as a V/H enhancer too.
