Default Like I said above....

Your improved braking is coming from your pads, at least 98% so. The increased bite of a slotted rotor will provide a VERY minimal gain over a solid rotor.

Take into account that most aftermarket rotors (esp. low cost units) are not cast with the holes, and are actually drilled by a third party, they WILL crack. Even without serious track events.

For a stock size upgrade save your money, get solid blanks, a good set of pads, SS lines and some good fluid.

You don't believe the slots help scrape the pads clean? I do.

Default From personal experience, and the words of one of the largest manufacturers in the country

I'm going to have to go with my original recomendation.

If you are keeping stock rotor size, your best bet is to go solid rotors, good lines, good pads, and good fluid.

Default Welcome to 1996.

F%%% that noise. Slotted . . . pfft. Cross-drilled . . . snicker.

ROUTED is where it's at these days.

Yes, routed rotors promote heat dissipation in a undeniably decorative manner. No worries about rotor cracking OR wet braking compromises. Giddeup!

Default thanks for the input all, I was looking for a 50/50 split

looks and performance, so I would think slotted is the way to go. I always thought cross drilled was more cosmetic unless you do the big brake upgrades from stoptech, brembo etc.
