After setting up the PS3 I decided to see what else it does. Well after a bit of searching I found two ways to see everything video, audio, and picture related. On my Macs.
I purchased MediaLink for $20. Installed a preference pane on my Mac, set the share points and now I can see all of my volumes and content from my PS3. Movies stream smoothly even over "G" raed WiFi. The only slowdown or skip occurred while downloading a demo on the PS3 at the same time I was watching a movie. You can also stop a movie and return to it at the same location. I'm sure it I had the PS3 wired to my router it would not be an issue. The only negative I have so far is the photo viewing wants to use iPhoto. I use Aperture.

There is also a free way to do this but I like being able to click a button more than running several command lines to get things going.
