Default Yup...

It's OK. I'm by no means a car stereo guy, just wanted to take the bass edge off the stock system and add some fullness. If you're looking for noticeable thump, probably not the choice. If you've budgeted to pay the 'new' price of a basslink, you're better off going with a dedicated amp and woofer. If you can get a great used deal on a basslink,it's not bad.

Default im looking for a deal on a used one...

i notice there are some on ebay that can be had at around a lil less than $200.

im not looking for any major thump'ing, more or less would like to bring some more fuller bass to the rear without going nuts on new components and paying big $$$ for the install.

im not really an audio-phile by any means, just want a lil more fuller bass coming through rear.

how was the install for you?

Default Installed myself...

When I changed headunits I went ahead and bought a wiring kit from Best Buy and ran the wires for the remote and RCAs under the trim and power from the battery down under the console and under the trim on the other side. it's not that difficult. I think it adds some fullness.

Are you factory Bose? Not sure if that affects things. I think there maybe some tech write-ups on the install somewhere in the Tech section on AW.

Default yeah i have the bose, but have already changed out the rear deck speakers...

to JBL GTO 2 ohms 6.5" speakers. overall pretty good, but surely could use a little more fullness from a tighter bass setup.

lets see what i can drum up from ebay in terms of getting one...

Default I had it in the Rocket

I liked it, but I pulled the rear speakers to vent the bass into the car.
