Default Anyone know of an affordable place to get a clutch on a 93 subaru legacy replaced in the city?

It's my sisters car and she cooked the clutch driving in traffic and just overall carelessness with clutch use. I drove it and the clutch seems fvcked! Can't even get the car above 45 mph on the highway without the clutch slipping badly and forget about hills. A place nearby quoted her $1200. She wants to try her luck elsewhere. Please don't say CPT Those guys are great and all but I'm not even sure if the car will make it to melrose park with a clutch that is toast and I think a rusty old subaru would probably be an insult.

Default I heard Al loves to work on Japanese cars.

But seriously, call GRD. They must have replaced a lot of Subaru clutches by now. Have it towed.
