thinking possible A.I.R. pump??? need to get the hoopty in either way...Does CPO cover a loaner? first time I am bring the car in since 4/50k expired, wanted to make sure a car was covered before I bring it in..TIA

Jeez Tim, let's not try to kill the guy.
Doing a ststic K test under those conditions can cause all sorts of bad results, up to and including mange.
Nvr2Fist, I will need a sample of your cats hair to further diagnose this. If you do not have a cat, your gerbil (don't lie, I know you have one.) will work.

It does sound like the secondary air pump to me but as Russ likes to remind me all the time I am in fact not a technician. Our schedule is pretty open right now. I can hook you up with a loaner any day next week. Just let me know!
