Default You guys lost a sale, btw...

... we talked awhile back, no wheel packages for sale for the Elise.

Ended up having wheels built by Kinesis, should arrive in a week or two.

Can provide specs to you for the Elise, I think you should definitely at least offer one lightweight wheel/tire setup for hte car. Probably a higher % of Elise owners want a set of track wheels & tires than any other car out there.

Default Uh, there are wheels available, TireRack just isn't a dealer for any of them.

It takes some work to get the front and rear offests right, but there are MANY lightweight wheels from Japan that will fit if you buy two of one offset and two of another, since the Elise shares its bolt pattern with several Honda and Nissan products that have a significant aftermarket/tuner following. There are also wheel setups made specifically for the Elise. The following are a two examples TireRack might consider carrying:

KMS Japan Forged Elise/Exige Wheels
15x7 F / 16x8 R
10.14lbs F / 11.9lbs R
Usually run w/215 front & 235 rear

Mag Dymag Exige
15x6 F / 16x8 R
10.8lbs F / 13.0lbs R
Usually run w/195 front & 225 rear

By the time I spent the time/money to import wheels so far unavailable to the U.S. market, dealt with the very crappy USD->GBP exchange rate, etc. I was better off just having wheels built to spec, getting what I wanted, and spending a couple extra bucks.
