Default Prairie Hills won't be this year, fyi. As for best outside of chapter, Mt. Tremblant, Canada is #1

then VIR/Watkins, Mosport (also Canada and not in the ACNA schedule), Mid Ohio, Road Atlanta and then Barber, in that order.

Tremblant, NE of Montreal, is the best track experience in NA, bar none. Best town, great track, great food, great hotels, reasonable prices.

Avoid: Nelson Ledges, Beaver Run, Heartland Park (not too bad), Miller Motorsports Park, Buttonwillow, Putnam (again, not too bad), Moroso, IRP, Gateway and Wateford Hills (small, not kept up well, but fun).

but eventually I figure I'll check it out for a NASA W2W race..

Default Pretty nice track, but the facility is non-existent, it's always hot as hell and it's not near any

good restaurants, etc.

Don't take 65 to indy and then over, take the rural highway straight from Lafayette through greencastle to Putnam.

Default This year? ABCC, Grattan, BHF, Mid-O, Waterford Hills & Barber

Gingerman is a great learning track that's not far away. Grattan is a must (usually the first weekend of May).

VIR is an incredible experience and the Audi Club out there does an outstanding job. If you are looking for a road trip - hook up with a group that will trailer the car. We had 7 cars at Watkins Glen last year.

Keep in mind that the Audi Club offers very good instruction at these events. Anyone can get into an open lapping day, but if you want to get good, you will need instruction - everybody does.
