Default BMX bike question... directed towards Eric but anyone can chime in with some knowledge

I got a bug up my *** and wanted to hunt down one or two BMX bikes from my childhood oh so long ago :-) Haro group 1a and 1c(1991-92ish IIRC) and an Auburn Racing bike of the same era I wanted badly when I was 12 but could never afford on a paper route salary. green was the color(always thought green was the ****) name of the bike was CR20 something?? Wondering where I can hunt one down or a site that can point me in the right direction. TIA

Default Ebay really is one of the best places for vintage BMX stuff.

There are a few forums out there as well. Be careful and make sure you know exactly what you are looking for/at, but it sounds like you do. A lot of the real classic stuff like Hutch, is going for quite a premium right now.

Also try www.vintagebmx.com

Let me know what you end up getting. I would be more then happy to make sure its put together properly and rideable.

Default After just buying a new bike.....I'm glad I did

I searched ebay for Colnago's all last year, thought I wanted a very cool vintage bike....with full campy....all that stuff....something like this:

<img src="http://i20.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/f1/73/a213_1.JPG">

Instead I got a new LeMond.....OMG, what a great way to spend my money. Careful of what you really want.....
