I'm going old school here with my original 1968 Orange Krate. In fact, the serial # on the head
tube on my bike shows a 12/67 mfg. date. It is the earliest known date of an Orange Krate that exists and/or has surfaced at this point based on information provided by Jim Heard who was at the time the curator of the Chicago Bicycle Museum at North Pier. (Don't even know if it still exists). I have all my original paperwork, the bike is all original except for tires and typical wear items (replaced banana seat) and rests comfortably in a temperature controlled environment!

should be heading there Saturday morning.
we are going to opening night at Sycamore Speedway on Friday and then driving straight from there after sleeping one off. let me know if you want to join us.

blah blah... I dont intend to ride it on a regular basis.. but I might get the itch to
do something stupid on it and try and ride it like I did in grade school! ha! I dont have the stamina or the lung capacity to ride like I use to. guys that wear tight ball hugging biker shorts FTL!!! :-)
