Default Body Shop - Far North Burbs

So I was helping this girl move into her condo in the city and do some painting, and I had my car parked on the side of the street in a space big enough for two cars. I had mine in front and the girls mercedes whom I was helping move was behind me.. so I figured we're safe, right?! Not. Somehow someone pulled up next to my car and it looks like they just flung their door open and slammed right into my passenger side door, and then started driving. That was on day 17 of me owning the TT. I called the cops, they said there wasn't anything that they could do.. they did tell me wheover did it was probably 'marking' my car (whatever that means) and for me not to bring it back in that area.. I don't think they have to worry about that.

Now I have to get an estimate from a body shop.. does anyone know a good one in the north burbs, I'm in Libertyville. If it's under $400 I'm just going to pay it myself since my deductable is $250 anyway.. State Farm is just looking for a reason to jack up my premium again.

I'm having my rear bumper of my Allroad repainted this coming Tuesday through Audi Exchange. I can let you how it turns out. The flat black finish on Allroads are difficult to match so it should be a pretty good measure of their workmanship.

Default Not far north - but it is north

I use body-werks.com in Skokie - They actually have a really great reputation and have done many show winning cars.

Add InterPro and Neat Street to that list IMHO.

Default Thanks guys.. I got an estimate

from a place here in Libertyville just to get a base price, $1053 Definitely not able to pay that out of pocket so I guess I get to bend over for state farm yet again. I'm going to take it to a few more places when they're open on Monday, thanks for the suggestions.

Here's some pics of the damange.

Default Dude put it on a credit card or something. Your insurance will go up at least that much, no?

And what about the deductible?

My deductable is $250..

I had 2 accidents in the past 2 years (different cars), nothing major but I'd guess around $5-6,000 total (I never got the old cars that were mine fixed, I just had the insurance pay the repairs for the other people) and it jumped from $127 to $166 after the last accident (Jan 04). After I bought the TT it went to $183, and I'm hoping after this, since it's a "no fault" thing, it'll stay under $200 a month. We'll see..
