Can't believe Chicago gas prices! Bought Shell 89 octane for $2.79 in Atlanta
yesterday afternoon for the rental car, get back home and both my local Shell stations are at $3.59 for regular. 70 cents per gallon difference... thank you Illinois taxes.

Speaking of car rentals....
I just got back from SFO yesterday and the taxes on a car rental are unreal:
Daily charge: $53
Airport tax: $15
Consession tax: $7.30
Tourism assessment: $3.33
Vehicle license fee: $3.45
============================
Total: $83.08

See below danmit. I was 2% in 3 weeks ago, 50/50 yesterday and today 0%. I will be out of town.....
Kills me that I will pass up virtually unlimited track time.
