Anna Maria Pasteria on Irving and Broadway
It's tucked away in a storefront. The prices are very reasonable (under 15 normally) and they make all their own pasta... a rarity, especially considering the price. It's owned by two Italian women, friends who moved here from Italy not too long ago. Intimate and romantic. (And they have the best Tara Misu in the city!)

Best Italian, IMO...Cannella's on Grand. Great food, great service.
