With the D.Ryan closed, what's the best way to Champaign from downtown? I am thinking 55-294-80-57.

With the D.Ryan closed, what's the best way to Champaign from downtown? I am thinking 55-294-80-57.
I need to be there @ 9:30 am, which doesn't help matters.
Does someone have a great route they'd like to share?

The Ryan isn't closed, just badly lane-reduced. Champaign's--what--3 hours normally? Just...
...take the Ryan as planned to I-57. At 0545, you shouldn't have any difficulty. Overall, during non-rush hours, it's been decent, maybe a little slow, but moving well.

in all honesty its not that bad taking the ryan so long as you dont go during peak
traffic hour. I did the 294 -80-57 and it took longer than if i went 90-57. so its your call
