... John and I had the first publicly sold beers at FFF. That place rocks. 14 different brews on tap. 8 of them were beers that were never distributed. Food is awesome too.

The Vantage tied the M6 in lap time despite being 120 hp shy of the M6, but the least powerful 997S dominated both cars by running about 5 seconds faster through the set course. They declared the 997S the clear winner factoring in other attributes. None of them preferred the Vantage and the common gripe was it lacked grunt compared to the other two cars. Surprising since the Top Gear fools are usually biased towards british sports cars, especially Astons.
I'd still take a 997S over that anyday... actually for the price they will be selling the V8 Vantage for here in the US, the upcoming 997 GT3 might even be cheaper and definitely be more badass.
That said, the baby Aston is one gorgeous looking ride.
