No, same engine set up. Here was the difference.......
Jeremy was running 15 lbs. of boost, I was running 12 lbs. (I was happy not to blow up!!!)
Jeremy weighs considerably less than I do.
I had Janice as a passenger ballast, he didn't. (Be sure to not only calculate Janice's weight but the difference if she was in his car and not in mine.)
Jeremy has the lengthened gear set and I am running stock. (He runs the track mostly in third, I'm 3rd, 4th and 5th. I was redlining 5th and could have short shifted to 6th on the two long straights.)
That said, and best I could figure out, he would pull on me in the straights and I could pull on him in the turns, even with the added weight. My locking diff, KW V3's and other suspension goodies helped me.
Jeremy is a great driver. I'm looking forward to the rematch on a non-high HP course to see if the mods make a difference. Maybe, maybe not!!!
