Florida member looking to relocate to Bolingbrook area....need your advice

why not look for something downtown? BB is just another suburb, so not sure what you'd gain by moving there.

darien, woodridge, westmont, downers grove, oak brook, willowbrook, hinsdale.. and a few others are all around that neighborhood bringing you a bit closer to downtown compared to bolingbrook. But the drive is not that bad to the city. My office is in down town and I just jump on 55N from RT 83 and it takes me about a half hour to be on michigan.. but then again I leave for work at around 10 am or whenever I really feel like it :P
Property taxes on residential properties are going to run you a bit high in dupage, will and lake counties compared to cook,city etc. But the schools tend to be better in dupage. Like others have mentioned, if in bolingbrook make sure to be in the school district 204/203. Best schools in the nation.
