a good or bad experience with them? Do they have a good stock list or are they no better than a Pep Boys or NAPA?
Seems they are the only large import car parts place in South burbs. EEK!

I would not expect there to be more import specific ones. All of the stores are national chains now. No more indy store with a good machine shop in the back. There are less and less indy repair shops and old school service stations. Not that long ago, there was a repair shop in every neighborhood and a good parts store to supply all of the local shops. The young kids working as clerks in these chain stores are only good for pointing me in the direction of the cleaning products. They are a far cry from the counterman of yore, the guy who was a walking catalog of parts. He could get you a box of tune up stuff for your ride without looking up anything. If he did have to look up something, he knew about which page to find it on in the six foot wide metal bound master catalog collection.
So I suggest you stop looking for old parts in Oak Lawn and hit the internet.

even my VW super simple when compared with the audi. it is insane. A rotor, cap, wires, and plugs were all I needed for a tune up.
What would you do to 'tune up' your audi? It is a different world.
I buy lots of parts from <a href="http://www.autohausaz.com/">http://www.autohausaz.com/</a>
