Default Hey P-NS crew or anyone! Looking for brake pads and was referred to you guys...

First, do you have a recommendation for street pads for S4 brakes? Hawk? Second, recommendation for track pads?

Will the street pads be a noticable difference than stock S4 pads? Thanks!

Default I use Hawk HPS for street...they are mildly better than stock

If you don't have track experience yet, don't bother buying track pads. It's better to learn on a street setup.

Default I run Porterfeld R4S (all 4 corners) for street and R4 (front only) for track. I like them, but...

I think I am going to try the something different for the track. Street performance is very good. But I have a bbk, so not sure on stock caliper.

I know that JasonS4 is having issues with his Hawk street pads in a 993 caliper.

Interesting. I've had both the R4 and R4S and disliked both quite a bit.

Anyone try the Carbotech, are they worth the extra money?

Default Second what he said above. You may also want to consider...

.... the Hawk HPS for the street.

Be aware that if you go for a crazy agressive track pad you need to be ready to replace rotors more often.
