Default i was involuntary tester of Audi 0-5 mile crash test

Got rear ended on Fullerton, Saturday afternoon, by a minivan at about 5 mph. Great results, no damage whatsoever, i was so shocked that I let the other driver go.

I have 2003 A4 Avant

Default I would check your under-bumper...

I had simmilar accdent few years ago with my Passat (on Fullerton too) about 5-7 mph. Girl in the other car had deployed airbag and broken nose while my car looked untouched. No visible damage but under plastic cover bumper was smashed. Insurance paid $1500. Girl was driving with no insurance, and after my State Farm tried to recover money...she finally filed bancrupcy.

Default State Farm is the spawn of the devil.

No love for that company. I worked for them for 4mo and had to quit before I went postal.

Default Not even paint cracking?

If so, that would be amazing.

Default Re: Not even paint cracking?

Nope, not even paint cracking, I looked pretty carefully on the outside. I couldn't believe it myself. I need to check under the bumper I guess, as Proxus recommended.

Default My car has nothing but the metal reinforcement bracket under the bumper skin...

...I wouldnt worry about it, but do give a good look see.

OTOH, ALWAYS take the other person's info, regardless.

Next time....

Default Happened to me on my A4 once.. I stalled on a light..

and this 16 y/o girl hit me, I took her insurance and all the info and let her go, next day I checked the bumper, even took it to a collision center and it was fine.

I had to call her back to tell her the news, no charges to her ins. at all.
