iPass/EZPass users: Got a violation notice today... a big wtf?
I am on auto-renew and have been for well over maybe 6 or 7 years.
The violation came today that in 07/2004 and 04/2005 and 04/2005 I ran one of the express lanes. So I have to pay the $.50 and a $20 fine for each. $62.
Again, auto-renew... without one notice of a zero balance. How the fsck do they get the idea I blew threw tolls? They have my tail photographed and everything.

I think you send them the # from the I-Pass box and they'll credit you the fines........
you still have to pay the tolls...I-Pass might have failed on those dates....had the same thing happen in the Suburban.......transponder broke and we got a load of violations.....

I think that they might mean that even though you have I-pass you
went too fast maybe and they did not pick up on the I-pass? And now they have to fine you?
Yeah, I would get a Supervisor involved in that phone call!

Another reason I love my old transponder that beeps when the toll is paid...
I also log onto my account weekly to print out my statement for my expense reports, so I could tell if something is missing.
