I had repairs performed on my vehicle by the dealer and now he won't release my car until I pay.....
From the FAQ:
Q:I had repairs performed on my vehicle by the dealer and now he won't release my car until I pay for the repairs. What should I do?
A:Since claims are not being paid at this time pending the Court's approval of a plan to restructure GARRG through rehabilitation, consumers may have to pay for their repairs in full in order to reclaim their vehicles. Consumers may wish to direct dealers to the CARRG website, Hwww.capitalassurancerrg.comH, for further information.

I had an EasyCare aftermarket warranty on my 996. I had a lot of stuff done....
and none of it was ever questioned. They pay the shop by credit card.
I bought the Gold coverage that cover everything except "stated" items (which were all wear things).
I bought it at the Porsche Exchange in Highland Park.
The initial rec was made by a place called Golz motors in Deerfield. A friend bought a 996TT and was taking it to Golz for work. They told him EasyCare was the best one and has been in business for years.
Just something to look into.
