Default Looking for a fun weekend get-away within a reasonable driving......

.... distance (less than 5 hours).

The catch is I need to find something that will amuse me, the wife, and a 2.5 year old.

I started looking into cottage rentals in Michigan but most seem to be a week minimum or they are waaaay up there.

Any ideas?

Default I'm not stuck on a cottage but if we do that it would have to be on the water.....

... somewhere so Alex can do the beach thing (he loved it in Bermuda).

He's a little too young still so we're limited on what we can do. We talked about flying somewhere but it's way too big of a pita just for a weekend....

Default Stay at my house.

You can drink while Dawn cleans our house or works in the yard.

Best part is it's a very reasonable cost to you...
