Default you're welcome...

here is the info on the bus.

it's the Ligne 100 bus to go from Nice to Monaco and it leaves from the main Routiere station in Nice. you'll get some great views of the Riviera and it's maybe only 15-20 mins longer than travelling by train.

I've only taken it from Nice to Monaco though, not back the other way.

also, Rue Grimaldi is the name of the street I was trying to come up with. the official ACM store is on this street. definitely check it out.

Default you're also a very short train ride to Cannes if you are looking for a Friday day trip.

Nice has plenty to offer though.

As you stand facing at the inner harbor, that appears to be a big concentration area as the tire walls were still up when I passed thru the area.

There were a line of cafes' (up & to the left of the harbor facing it) on the downhill from the casino. They gave a decent overview of the marina area. I dunno about the course.

To the RIGHT of the harbor area is the Royal family complex where you can see their changing of the guard.

As suggested above, the train can take you West to Nice / Cannes after Villefrance, quaint cafes and not much else. Watch Ronin the movie, then snap your "stand in double" shots in some of those areas.

This guy might know where to score some English girls:
