Default Nice! No emission testing for the Track ****. I was a little worried about it but then

I remembered there was an exemption form you can fill out which gives you a two year reprieve assuming your car falls into one of the categories. Something for all you other junkies out there with cars that are quickly becoming (or already are) dedicated ***** like mine. I'm not sure if they check for cats anymore as some of you have removed them but this might be a way around it too with the exemption:

* Vehicles operated exclusively in organized amateur or professional sporting activities as defined in the Environmental Protection Act (415 ILCS 5/1 et seq.);

Race Car/Show Car affidavits are available at test stations. Please read and complete the affidavit carefully, and enclose all required documentation. The affidavit must be resubmitted every two years to retain the exemption. Any questions can be directed to the Illinois EPA at (217)785-7449.

Click
