Quattro fun in the snow

A great spot to play in the snow is the parking lot near Montrose Harbor on Montrose Ave., east of the Lake Shore Dr. across from the Chicago Yacht Club. The lot is unplowed and is almost as smooth as an ice skating rink. I've been playing there for over an hour the past 2 days.
Many people practice driving in that lot throughout the year (they have orange cones set up in the summer), but I'm talking about high school students and grandmas, not NASCAR wannabes! There's another lot north on Wilson Ave., but it's currently being used to store the city's salt. Surprisingly, with all that salt nearby, the roads between Montrose Harbor and Foster Ave. Beach aren't completely plowed, which is great for us.
Have fun and let me know if you guys know of any other good spots in the city to play.

it was great! there are a few places where the lot isn't as smooth as I would like, but it was a hell of a lot of fun!
