.... So I bought that PC from Proxus. I needed to buy a digital monitor so I went with a 22in acer. Now I have a dual core (and f'in loud!), 22inch porno ahem.... I mean automotive intarweb surfing / gaming machine. I'm not sure what all the other crap on the PC does.
So, I like my uuuum... web surfing and gaming to be big so I buy a DVI cable with component extention so I can hook this bad boy up to the 52inch TV in my office. Of course nobody around here has the cable so I had to order it. It shows up and I plug it in (dvi to monitor and RGB to TV).
Monitor works fine but no go on the TV. It should be as simple as pluging it in to the RGB on the TV and just flipping the inputs till I get a picture right? Am I missing something?
It's a non HD / digital TV if that matters - a 5 year old Mitsubishi diamond series.
Help computer.

If I remember correctly there should be some check box or drop down for TV option ot 2nd monitor if you got it hooked up as a monitor.

if you have a s-video port on the card then it should work but i bet that you don't have it.
so you'll likely need a converter box or a new video card.
I'm not 100% on this so you should do some more research or consult someone who knows more then me.
