Questions about AutoX next Sat. ??

New Audi owner here in Champaign..
I am going to see the worst team in baseball play next Friday(cubs) and was thinking of staying in town and going to AutoX 2 on Saturday.

I have never been to any events yet, and I am still all stock setup with no helmet.

Is this a good event to start with? Should I go to a drivers school first?
What should I expect?

This is *THE* place to start.....

You need nothing but a car with gas and an open mind. Everything else (well, no food) can be provided. Helmets are a nominal rental fee, the anbassador program will teach you what to do and what to expect. If you are still unsure, there will be a ton of very happy and willing folks to jump in the right seat and coach you.

Very inexpensive fun.

This is a very fun way to start out, I personally think you will have so much fun driving your car with these guys, that you will not miss any other events the rest of your life, if at all possible!
