Default R.I.P Lacy, Otto, and Newman

For those wondering where I've been this past week:

Last Saturday my apartment burned to the ground. The cause: my Apple MacBook Pro power adapter caught fire while I was at lunch for an hour. I was only able to salvage 3 garbage bags of smoke-damaged clothing - everything else is gone. Screw the stuff, though . . . also lost in the fire, our three Pugs: Lacy (10), Otto (9), and my puppy Newman (10mo). I burried all 3 dogs today at a pet cemetery . . . easily the hardest thing I've ever had to do.

I'll post more later with pictures, etc. Just too much going on right now trying to start life over again.

Default OMG. That is so sad. I really, seriously feel for you. Hardest thing had to be the dogs. All

else is replaceable.

How did they figure out the power adapter so quickly. I have a bunch of those adapters. Holy crap!

Best wishes.

Default I had a MacBook Pro power supply (bought mid-summer 2006) start a fire...

... luckily, it was in an isolated area and I hit it with a fire extinguisher. I honestly don't know how so many of the faulty power supplies got on the market.

That's terrible... as a pet parent who lost a pet not long ago, I know it's terribly hard, and three at once must be unbearibly bad. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss

Default my thoughts are with you. sorry for your loss

material possesions can be replaced. the love and relationship of an animal cannot. Always keep them in your thoughts....
