Restaurant BT: How is this place?????

It's the only 4-star restaurant in Chicago I WOULDN'T go back to.......
...because it's just WAY too stuffy for its own good, IMO.
I won't bore you with the details, but:
- Our group of 4 laughed a lot (politely, not obnoxiously) to the apparent annoyance of everyone else in the place, most obviously our waitress.
- We were evicted from our table at the end of our meal, because "somebody was waiting for it". Now, I've had all kinds of experiences at nice restaurants, not all of them pleasant, but this was the most ridiculous thing ever.
The food was fine - good even, except for the "Skate Wing", which we all thought was off somehow.
For a romantic dinner, it would be fine, I suppose, but it's a personal preference/style sort of question - it's too formal for me/us.
