Apparently the viper lost it accelerating out of 2?... (Link to track map)
The first car is coming into the braking zone of 1 as the Viper blazes infront of him. Just hard for me to imagine just how out of shape you have to be for that to happen. he had to be rippin' to overtake while out of shape sideways . It's not like ....
... we see him in frame prior to the near miss. And, it sure seems like the driver of the Bimmer was surprised to see him.

No Ken, watch again....this was on the front straight....right after that kink and access road
to the right.....watch as the 2nd Vette passes him there is access road to the right. This guy must of freaked out in the kink or something...or something happened while entering the track??
