Default It would be recommended. I would also grab a torch and heat it up afterwards...

then take a braker bar to it and you should be ok....don't be afraid to lean on that bar to break it loose but make sure you have the right socket, preferably 6-point vs. 12-pt, and make sure its on square.

Default WD-40 or PB Blaster, propane torch too

Get a 1.5 - 2 foot long piece of pipe to go over your tools/breaker bar to give you extra leverage, you can do it, just take your time. I highly suggest using lots of PB Blaster and letting it soak. And yes, use 6 point sockets vs 12 point, prevent your chances of rounding. 1/2 deep sockets work really well on this area along with a breaker bar, usually present no problem. Impact tools are god though.
