Default Deer Tick Bites - Nothing to F__k with! I got Lyme Disease 3 years ago...

It REALLY SUCKED! Got very lucky because I was diagnosed within two weeks. Was able to make a complete recovery. Go undiagnosed for a few months and you can develop fatigue issues and get permanent damage to your joints, nerves, and/or internal organs. Keep an eye out for the telltale "bullseye" where the tick bit you.

Default Good news but keep watching...

The bullseye takes a few days to appear if it is going to show up at all. It lasts for a week or two and then goes away. Typically the highest risk times of the year are early (May-ish) and late (September-ish) during the warm season so your chances of contracting it are relatively low. Just make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the next couple of weeks.
