it was finally towed away...

after some 5 hours of 'chinese alarm torchure'...A dark grey Toyota(?) van parked on Dearborn accross the street from my office...its alarm's been going off every 30 seconds for 2.5 minutes periods each for ~5hrs straight!!!

CPD towed it away after numerous calls to 311 were made by many people in and around our building.
