Speeding ticket, what to do?
#11
Just mail it in with the registration for traffic school...
Assuming you havent had traffic school recently it shouldnt be a problem. You should even be able to do the class online.
Otherwise a speeding ticket will haunt your insurance rates for 3 years.. or maybe a ticket is only 2 years... I cant remember for sure.

Here in upstate NY, it is recommended that you show up on your court date...
there is a decent chance that the citing officer will 1) not show up - you are free and clear; 2) he will show and have a little tete-a-tete and if a reasonable fellow AND your record is clean, he will let you plead to a non-moving violation; or 3) he might be a complete ***** and wants the throw the book at you. I got off twice by doing this. In any case you will have to pay$. Good luck and speed no more! (or at least don't get caught)

Hire a lawyer and "most likely" get supervision.. around $200-450 depending on fine..
or do the traffic school (you can do it online.) Depends what your time is worth.
Almost never a good idea to let tickets go on your record if you can help it..

Re: Speeding ticket, what to do?
Go to court (if you have the time) and request supervison .... if you are under 20 ovr limit usually no brainer and takes 10 minutes.
Wheeling got me last year 75 on a 55 zone.
