Default Spotted a new unmarked police cruiser...

I was driving north on 41 and saw a blue Chrysler Sebring that was an unmarked police cruiser. It had the entire radar setup and hidden lights...looks like the cops are getting smart. I would have never suspected it to be a police car if I didnt see the radar guns.

Default damm...TJ: what radar does CPD usually use?

(i.e. does anyone know or have experience w/what type of band they use)

Ive only been here about 9 months and have never seen a radar unit actually mounted in one of their cars... know if they use a gun? or laser?

thanks - you guys are a great resource

Usually it's just the old side mounted chicken fryers X-band on LSD. Nothing too creative.

Default By the time your V1 goes off w/ laser, you might as well be writing the check out if you're first in

line. You need a jammer.

Default I think the x-band uses the same frequency as

the radio band they use for their informational systems, laptops if you.
