I used to work next to Al and he is a good guy, does good work and is honest.

He can't sing real well but he does do a mean Hokey Pokey.

Actually he rarely sees the audi...

I try to do most of the stuff myself. But he has always taken care of our beetle and CJ, pretty much as long as we've had them.

Think you've been hit will all the recommendations. Guess it depends on what you need.

From reputation, GRC, CPT, Dubworks, and Russ at Continental are all well respected. Each probably has a specialty:
GRD- only Chicago APR distributor and supportive of the club
Russ- only Audi tech who participates here, and takes good care of customers
CPT- sponsor of the club

GRD & CPT both have dynos.

I've personally only had experience with GRD and have nothing but good things to report. But I've seen CPT's shop and it's impressive.
