Default In the spirit of Porsches (RS America and GT3) strip out the seat, keep the carpet....

There's little to be gained weight-wise from removing the carpet, and it'll make the drives to BHF and other distant tracks easier on the ears.

Default ooh, that's pretty sexy. i'd say keep it.

once you gut it, it just becomes a loud, rattle prone beast you won't want to ever drive on the street.

until you decide you absolutely have no desire to drive it on the street (and simultaneously want to do the full cage), i'd say keep it as is.

Yup, and it's a new custom suede interior. It's so nice you have to make sure your pants are clean.

that was the idea, maybe I can take it apart and just have the carpet.

Default I have been thinking of doing the same to mine starting this winter,

strip everything exept for the air, power windows, carpet, & radio as I like to drive it on nice days. After getting it corner ballenced I have found that my car weighs just over 3200lbs so I might be able to get it under 3000lbs with a little work. I say do it.
