Default Are there any tuners/stores in Chicagoland that stock different racing seats so that I could

try them out before buying? I was set on getting the GT3 seats, but after sitting in Jason's car I found them to be too small for my frame. TIA

Default Are you coming to Blackhawk and do you need them by then? If not, the seats available in our cars

will far outnumber what any shop has. Walk around, great way to meet people and have a seat!

Default Call them in advance though and ask for an exact description or model # of seat.

I've never found them to be forthright with the exact "inventory" when I've asked what's on the floor.

I agree. John Ruther is excellent to deal with. The other people there are NOT pleasant IMO.

Default Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to get a 4-point roll cage before BH, so I'm planning on

going to Gingerman w/ PCA which require race seats w/ a 5 or 6 point harness in the more advanced run groups. BTW Dave, which seats do you have in your car? Still like them after a few track events?

Default I had Sparco Evo XL but it's not HANS compatible. I went with a HANS device so I switched seats to

Racetech, the RT4009 WTHR. It made my Sparco seat feel like a sofa.<ul><li><a href="http://www.racetechseatsna.com/race_seats/RT9009.html">Racetech 2nd one down</a></li></ul>

Any interest in selling the Sparco's (assuming you still have them)?
