Default there is a 5 micron pebble 18.35332mm past the apex of turn 6

i spotted it the last time i checked every nm of the track with my interferometer.

It would prevent you from doing that.

Default Fences on both sides. Four wheelers have trouble to outside, solid wall on inside.

There are car pass throughs to pull broken down cars out, but you can't really get to them from off track (except via a few gates that are locked or manned).

Default Any pro driver who's driven Laguna often, or any photog who's driven the outside, inside and walked

around the track (or any other track) knows where a car could make it track, or could not.

The story simply was not accurate (not Luke, the writer).

The drunk had paid in advance and had a touring decal on his windshield. They don't have a breathalizer at the track edge, hence he made it out.

Could happen at any track. They had over 200 ferraris, 300 NSX's, countless cadillacs and vettes as well, all mostly in their own touring groups.

If you get joy and ego boost out of picking on me for saying I know ever inch of the track, which is a commonly used phrase, or for asserting the opinions of pros as to the Carrera GT, go ahead.

What I have written is factual. I cannot help it if the facts bother you, or if you find it necessary to make light of them.

It's my job. I represent drivers. "Racecar" drivers were not mentioned in this post by me.

Default Mike, do I at least get a chuckle for Porsche Sobriety Management?

I think it is a pretty good corollary to mandating PSM.

Default Funny stuff! I have walked or GOLF carted the entire circumference, inner and outer, for years.

My point was simply that the article was inaccurate, as the guy entered the track appropriately and by the normal means, the main gate at turn five.

Default Absolutely. I didn't even catch the acronym was identical. Yes, and I am sure actual PSM

has saved many a drunk from time to time.
