Oh yeah, I had to drop off a socket for Doug I took with me. Used it as a reason to drive the 996!

Default Yeah cause I stole it! The **** now has lug bolts that are 22mm and as part of Doug's track

preparation set up, he included an extra socket for me.

For those of you that track regularly, you'd appreciate this. I show up to pick my car up at Doug's before VIR and he has the car loaded and tied down on my trailer already. He has all my tires mounted on the trailer with pressures written on each tire. He's included two extra gas jugs in case there might have been track issues with gas, which there weren't. He included a compressor filled with nitrogen (that's what I run) in case I had tire issues. He also included every type of fluid I could possibly need, extra plugs, clamps, hoses, car specific tools, etc... in a separate care package so I wouldn't get stranded unnecessarily. Yes, I still had my own track box, jack, jackstands, etc... but it's the type of service you can expect from Doug when you prepare for an out-of-town event. Yes I could have done it all myself, but it's nice to know someone as experienced as him is double checking the things you may need at the track.
