Default Intercooler piping for the driver side intercooler only for now. Passenger side will be duplicated

as well in a few months when they release the kit. It's in development right now. The real reason for the FT450 upgrade kit to the one I have now (FT400) is for the additional cooling more than anything. I'm not so concerened over an additional 50 HP but I want to keep the engine as cool as possible.

It also requires some racing grade connect. rod bearings that I was hoping to stay away from, (from the standpoint of cracking the engine open) but if you want to play, you gotta pay!

FT450

Correct. DSG can't handle it, but it is available for the TT and the A3.

What's the particular package you went with from HPA if you don't mind me asking? Isn't there a single or twin turbo options?

Not sure which one you mean as their is no A/C compressor anymore so I'm not sure what you see.

Default I went with the single. The twin set up was a little too invasive for me.

I pre-ordered the FT450 option which consists of a second intercooler, strengthened connecting rod bearings and a couple of high capacity "competition" intercoolers.

FT400

Default I have no idea which one you are looking at. I see lots of black tubing. There's the structural

part of the car frame in front of the radiator? There's also the 1" tubing that's about 10" long towards the firewall which is part of the secondary air pump. There's also other tubing. ????

Default Oh wait! Are you talking about the curved piping at the front of the radiator way down low?

Power steering cooler.
