What happen to my tranny?

The tranny'a apart now & it looks like the second gear syncro was misaligned from the factory. At 74,000 miles it finaly decided to come apart & not engage right. Does anyone think this is something I can throw back at audi since it was a factory screw up or am I SOL because of its age & milage?

Probably SOL...sucks...

at least you got it figured out...why not drop a 6 speed in there?

I would need a whole new drivetrain to swap,,,,

& a S4 tranny has taller gears, That would hurt my accelleration.

I was thinking RS2 or something along those lines...

would be a little more costly...
