Default Wish I could find the most recent Grassroots Motorsports mag article with the R-compound

comparisons. IIRC, the NT-01 got pretty good reviews. Not as quick as the Kuhmo or Falken R-compound tires, but comparable with the Avon and Yokohama. In an earlier test (Nov '05) their suggestion was to shave right out of the box or the tires go away quickly. When shaved, they were then comparable to Avon and close to Kuhmo V710.

Tim R.- any chance you have recent back issues for reference??

Default Sign-up for Blackhawk

The track is challenging enough for experienced drivers, yet can be easily picked-up by a novice. The bonus is the fun of the whole weekend - the Saturday night banquet (with TONS of great raffle prizes), the bonfire and the camaraderie.

You won't be forced to drive at a pace that's uncomfortable to you and you'll be paired one-one with an instructor for the whole weekend.

It's WAY past time for you to see what that car of yours is really capable of.

And brake dust really does wash off.
